DESCRIPCIÓN

The KNX controller 8-channel temperature SK08-T8 is a controller from the S8 device series for measuring and controlling 8 separate temperatures that are recorded with external PT1000 temperature sensors (available as accessories). The controller has 8 inputs for connecting PT1000 temperature sensors. The SK08-T8 unit has an integrated KNX bus coupler and requires no additional voltage. The measuring transducer with the bus coupler is located in a housing made of impact-resistant, glass-ball reinforced plastic with a seal and meets the IP65 degree of protection.

Various temperature sensors can be used. As accessories, Arcus-EDS offers a variety of sleeve/screw-in/ceiling/ and contact sensors for the different applications.

In the application software, different controller types (two-point or PI controllers with continuous or pulsed outputs) are available for each channel. Further functions such as upper and lower limit values and one auxiliary object each, which can be switched to the setpoint or limit values, are included.

The sensor is configured with the ETS (EIB Tool Software) and the application program. The control functions as well as switching thresholds and various setting parameters are parameterised via the ETS (EIB Tool Software).

PT1000 set up

Follow the following steps to connect the temperature probes PT1000: 1. Set all DIP-switches without any probe connected to ON 2. Disconnect KNX bus 2. Connect probes to terminals 3. Set only to OFF the DIP-switches of the terminals connected 4. Connect the KNX bus Any changes at configuration in the SK08-T8 controller, the KNX bus must be disconnected fo a few seconds.
